Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 (FM+BB) - several fly-bys

Takeoff, landing and several fly-bys of a restored Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 in pristine condition, filmed at an airshow in 2006. The sound of the DB 605 engine makes it a very unique experience to see one of these in action.

That sound ... keep your Spitfires, Hurricanes, Typhoons, Mustangs, Thunderbolts, Lightnings and Yaks, i've seen them all. But the DB 605 ... that sucker goes straight to the spine, i always get the shakes when i hear it live.

There is something about the sounds of the engines during a fly-by, especially if they're in kind of a dive, then it seems like they're all revved up.
