hey, i was there... was used to his concerts being in small venues, so it was kinda strange

(also he generally wears a suit and tie, so the sleevelessness was different... but it was hot out)

...greta stuff, thanx for the turn-on....reminds of Laurie Anderson, her prepared violin, with the magnetic tape on te bow.....different altogether,..and similar

(my favorite song of his to see live, rickegee, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDnE_jZOG5k , though bad audio recording of that great performance)

Thanks for exposing us to something new and different.

Andrew Bird is an amazing talent, its beyond me that he's not fabulously famous.
