one of my favorite revenge films.while it may be formulaic and the trickeration shots can be distracting.you have to love denzel washington as the tortured and haunted ex CIA counter terrorist agent and his search for redemption.found in the face of an 8 year old girl named pita (played by dakota fanning),creasy (denzel washington) has been hired as bodyguard for pita in the dangerous mexico city. after a kidnapping of pita that goes horribly wrong,and denzel left for dead,he reaches out to an old CIA buddy played by christopher walken in order to make anybody that profited or benefited from pita's death by hunting them all down and extracting his revenge.this is the first interrogation leading to those really responsible for pita's death.
