If you define 'science' as having common sense, then of course 'science' becomes very valuable. Doesn't make having 'science' into something better than having common sense.

If Lawrence Krauss is promoting something deeper than that, please explain it.

I suppose you can build a morality built entirely on scientific fact, but Science is never going to provide a reason for moral questions like the above.
