I've read disparagements of Lang Lang's style, but its impossible for me NOT to find his energy, obvious enjoyment and effortless skill really a pleasure to listen to and witness.

Classical music is always a discipline that begs for new blood to wake it up and remind it that people like Bartok and others were crazy individuals who would no-doubt slap out these pieces when they themselves played, and that emotion was of significant importance.
