Laika, Sputnik 2

Fun re-telling of the launch of Sputnik2 in 1957. Laika was the stray dog picked up from the streets of Moscow, which became the first living creature sent into space. Unfortunately she died only a few hours after launch from overheating and stress and Russian scientists have since expressed regret over her death.

A bit of humour. Not for those with a penchant for historical accuracy.
