Ahh, you got to love that.

Funny fact: In the beginning of the video the presenter tries to explain what style of music Kraftwerks does. Since they were among the pioneers in electronic music there was no correct genre name back then. After mentioning the roots of Kraftwerks music in Classic (!) and Rock he concludes calling it "electronic rock". Whereas I have to ask: WTF has rock to do with Kraftwerk?

What just comes to my mind: Rammstein once mentioned Kraftwerk as their musical inspiration. ...when you compare the rolling "rrrr" in the voices that seems very true ;-)

oooo...lovely find, hamfist. I love Kraftwerk. A German friend of mine in High School had all this stuff...Nina Hagen, Humpe Humpe, Falco (JENNY!).... This brings back memories.

there were other avant-garde artists working in electronic music before and parallel to kraftwerk, but kraftwerk figured out how to make music that was very new butimmediately likeable (pop hooks certainly helped), and of course present it in an interesting way.
