Katrina's Hidden Race War

An investigation into events that occured during the chaos of Hurricane Katrina.

From the YouTube post :

Disclaimer: The Nation is an archliberal, ultra-left-wing source, the self-described "the flagship of the left."

If Blacks riot, they're expressing themselves.

If a Black man stubs his toe on a White man's curb, it's a crisis of racism.

It is liberals, not conservatives, that fuel the flames of racial hatred and are obsessed with race, just so they can keep political power.

Thanks for the link Pprt. The article explains in detail the chaos after the storm - particularly with law enforcement.

From today's Times-Picayune concerning the National Guard in New Orleans - yes, it is still here.

Malik Rahim, the first man interviewed in the video, was the Green Party candidate for congress in district one. That election took place on December 6th and Republican Anh Joseph Cao won. Incidentally, I had a New Yorker send me a video of Rahim speaking. She thought I lived in that district and wanted me to vote for him. I live in the second district which settled its election in November.

Kudos to these people for pulling together and defending their neighborhood. Isn't it normal in disaster situations for "looters to be shot on sight"?

The blacks should have stayed out, or visibly demonstrated their non-threatening intent (hands raised, white flags, etc.) if they truly had to transit that area.

Absolutely.

Most first person accounts I've heard include tales of how the blacks started to pillage stores and sell their loot for inflated prices. After the stores were empty, they'd make their way to private residences.

Robbery and murder weren't the only problems. There was a huge RAPE epidemic as well. You need to protect yourself and your family in a state of emergency.

The police certainly weren't helping as they were too busy emptying the shelves at WalMart and even took a vacation in the middle of the crisis.

These people were simply ensuring that the chaos and carnage that happened in NO wouldn't find its way to Algiers Point. You've got to be firm in this circumstance and show them the neighborhood is in control.

For you guys to defend murder is outrageous and unbelievable.

"It's like hunting season in South Dakota!!"
"I am no longer a Yankee--I earned my wings!!"
-- Some quotes in the film

These people celebrate their kills.
