Long live Joe Strummer. One of the few true musical heroes.
shuacsays...

There's a documentary about Joe called "Let's Rock Again" by Dick Rude and in it, I sense a real sadness within Joe as he tries to get his new band and new record heard. He even stood on the street handing flyers to passersby and I'm thinking: he really shouldn't have to do that, right? There's another scene where he gets an on-air interview with this douchebag radio DJ who only wants to talk about the armadillo in the Rock the Casbah video. I really wanted to punch that fuck for not being more respectful.

Anyway, I miss you Joe.

I sure do miss Joe Strummer. I leaned a lot about chords and song structures from Lennon\McCartney and then listening to the Clash added this energy like nothing else.
