John Stossel confronts Socialist Indian Political Boss

A little over six minutes, this is an excerpt from a larger John Stossel report called "Is America Number One". Stossel takes a look at America's economy, but specifically he focuses on the failures of Socialism and defends against alarmist reports of high unemployment in America. This ought to ruffle the feathers of the largely liberal Sift base. Let's hear it! Bring on the debate!

To the commentary in the summary, liberalism ain't socialism, you label-twister.

If all socialism is bad, why go to India, and not the U.K.?

Why is the only fact he uses to talk about socialized healthcare the number of MRI machines, and the fact that the wealthy of other nations come here sometimes? Why not talk about the raw health care statistics about cost, coverage, death rates, etc?

Corporate media would never, ever, manipulate facts to try to sell us on the status quo, would they?

I mean gosh, they've done such a good job with Iraq, who wouldn't blindly trust them?

Stossel is a tool.

This is so shallow, biased, and one-sided it makes me want to puke.

When we can thump our chests and say we're better than Mexico, Haiti, or Calcutta, we're really not saying a lot.

I'll take France any day.
