Unfortunately, this chronicle of the Great Depression and the Hobo Wars was quickly erased from history by the powerful Hobo Queen for it revealed too many secrets about the hobo world."

Actually, this is taken from the wonderful and hilarious audiobook version of "The Areas of My Expertise" by John Hodgman, with accompaniment by Jonathan Coulton. If you like your comedy very dry, do check it out.

The audiobook is also the source of the 700 hobos meme from last year.

I've also never seen John Hodgman in anything other than TDS. He has a great voice for narration.
