Iraq war costs: $10 billion/mo, & almost $500 billion so far

Remember when Rumsfeld said the war would only cost $50 billion? Five years later, the true figure is about ten times higher. At least we have cheap gas and a strong economy because of it, right?

C'mon, libs, when has the cost of ANYTHING been an obstacle to your "ideals"? How great it must be to not even care if anything works, as long as someone is DOING something!

Wake me when the Iraq War tops the 5.4 TRILLION wasted the last 40 years on the failed "War on Poverty".

500B sounds way too low..

no mention of the $billions lost in the purported "aid" that went "missing" upon shipment; nor the $billions spent on military contractors or the expended military equipment & supplies; to say nothing of the $billions estimated in the costs of veterans care expected to last well into the 2050s
