I hereby make a motion that Congress is to be replaced by these guys. Except for Ron Paul.

For a city council they'd be awesome.

Congress would worry me -- do you have any idea what a 100% majority in congress could do?

Unfortunately congress is too much like this. Sure people get up there and wag their tongues, but at the end of the day they all answer to the same paymasters.

They should actually be fighting tooth and nail on substantive issues, until they manage to build agreement on a plan of action, that is their job. They agree to far too much without thinking on the consequences, that's what is wrong with congress.

Firefighters already agree on what has to be done, their job is to act, their mission obvious, this is commendable in their context, but not in a legislative one.

It's a cute ad, but not good political analysis.
