Hungary's homeless out in the cold

Short news segment. Al Jazeera shows homeless struggling against a government that wants them out of sight

One thing I always wondered - if I was a homeless person why would I gravitate to a city? Wouldn't it be easier to find somewhere rural to shack up/sleep? It's not a rip on these guys, I find the introduction of this law genuinely disturbing, but I wonder what keeps them sleeping on a concrete sidewalk for years when surely there would be better alternatives.

Maybe it's because there's more public space in the cities, or there is easier access to some items they really want, or they depend on the services of these aid workers?

cities are safer, and yes, they have daily needs, that they can't really fulfill otherwise.

I often wandered why the government can't provide a bare minimum of services and housing for these people. Even a $100 hut would save lives.
