How to make Strawberry Jam

Strawberries are in season here in the southern U.S. My kids enjoy visiting the local farms and this year we're going to have a go at making jam. This recipe looks pretty easy, we'll let you know how it does!

Glad they ended with the storage time for idgits....every time cannings' come around, had lots of sterile jars a boilin', and lids sucked down on new Ball jars vacuum tight from temp change.....store those for months!...none of this, refrigerator is always gonna be there when you put the key in shit, and plenty of smoked meats.......always!

root cellars are handy.....so's gold and bullets.....oh and mix some rhubarb in with those strawberries cookin', and that plain-ol' starwbahr', jam becomes something special!
