You only have to see one sick cow to change your whole view of a factory dairy. I don't believe in happy cows. I believe in a dairy holocaust. And this post is pure bullshit.
bizinichiyeah thats the post i was looking for oroiginally, but i couldnt find it on videosift so i had to change the tone of my post to look nicer
or else i'd be a lunatic who gets angry at people not being able to report the truth. who gets lunatic about that, you know
marinaranobody likes being yelled at. I guess I should dial back my comments from nasty all the way to agreeable.
farcrafterMy image of a dairy farm was nothing like this haven for cows, and I imagine this milk goes to high end milk boutiques or something. I grew up near a small, family dairy farm, and while it was nothing like this the cows were not mistreated. Large factory dairy farms are pretty dismal, but it is nice to see the other end of the spectrum. And even here, they gloss over unpleasant details such as the separation of newborn calves from their mothers.
I remember reading about the black market for fresh milk in California, and people paying 15 dollars a quart for helicopter delivered illegal (non pasteurized) cow juice. I like milk, and try to buy organic, but that is over the top.
