Had to get someone to help me with the first step since that was the difficult part, second part was really easy though - was able to follow the instructions flawlessly and it looks perfect!

As for drawing an eye... I always went with the flat Egyptian look - one big curve over a smaller reversed curve. (hopefully that makes some sense)

Of course, I can't even draw a circle with a compass....
