anyprophetsays...This is more a condemnation of America, in general, than of Obama. Most people are completely uninformed about everything. To say that this kind of ignorance got Obama elected is a bit biased.
Also, 12 people isn't very many people.
rougySore losers....
Cry like little babies.
The Obama haters are imploding!
KnivesOutUpvote for the irony. Hilarious. Twelve people do not make a poll.
LurchRead the article that goes with it. This was just a sampling of the greater survey by Zogby. I think it provides a good window into how people are absorbing information from the news today. They can all identify gaffes or smears aimed at the Republican side, but they have no idea about what is happening on the Democratic side. Also, I thought it would be entertaining to see how well this does on here considering anti-McCain videos interviewing a handful of idiotic supporters shot to the top 15. I doubt this will even sift without multiple passes through Beggar's Canyon.
HollywoodBobsays...The article is about a survey that Zogby was contracted to do by the the man who did the documentary footage on election day. They did a telephone poll of 512 people a week and a half after the election, and got similar results.
From the video you can tell that the questions were made in at most 2 locations, with no information on the locations, for all we know the documentarian could have handicapped his results by cherry picking the worst interviewees from neighborhoods with notoriously low education standards. Also, there's no information on what requirements were set for the Zogby poll, just that they stand by the results of the survey they were hired to perform.
volumptuous^ The locations were both in very poor, very black parts of Los Angeles.
Nate Silver at fivethirtyeight.com has a fantastic interview with the guy who contracted Zogby to do the polling. The guy is a right-wing nutjob who's been hellbent on destroying anything even remotely close to "liberal" since the early eighties.
This is a great portion of Nate Silver's interview:
NS: Thank you, have a good day.
JZ: Go fuck yourself.
nickreal03says...this is just one sided. They could have interview the other side to hear just as ignorant comments as these. The fact is that people should not vote for a president because they do not know what the hell they are doing. This makes the case very clear. We should have very smart people and very neutral people with only one objective. Choose the next president which will bring positive progress to all Americans and contribute to the progress of the world.
Too bad that we, humans can be corrupted so easily.
Lurch^
Won't argue with you on the one-sided perspective. I also have a strong distrust for most polls since the results can be so easy to manipulate. What I find entertaining about this is that if the roles were reversed here and it was an Obama supporter interviewing idiotic McCain supporters this would be flying through the queue.

Those are just a few sifts that shot out to the front page and filled with comments on how those clips proved conservatives were all idiots. I'm just putting up the other side. I don't expect this to sift without plenty of begs.
J-Rovasays...Lurch, you are exactly right in both comments above.
Clearly this survey is incredibly biased, as well as others which are similar but favor the opposing side (and yes, the Sift favors the liberal side). However, it is a testament to mainstream news agencies' preference for controversy over meaningful substance (ie, subjects have knowledge of the $150,000 clothing story, but are oblivious to which party holds the majority of the seats in Congress). Regardless of one's political views, being an educated voter involves extensive sifting through massive amounts of misleading, slanderous garbage.
siftbotMoving this video to Lurch's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
Lurch*beg
siftbotSending this video to Beggar's Canyon to plea for a little attention - beg requested by original submitter Lurch.

The references you site, are examples of McCain people generally being psychotic, and inciting violence against a sitting senator. This is not the same order of magnitude news/siftworthy.
Show me video of a crowd of Obama people actually calling for the assassination of McCain, and you would have a sift.
FNORDcincosays...Here's a pretty telling interview about the person that made this

9692says...So the natural conclusion after seeing this piece is that the next republican candidate will be spoilt for choice when they come to pick a VP?
