Cool, actually most religious people are nice and peaceful, problem is when their leaders start becoming political. Fundamental Christian leaders are turning their congregations into hateful religious activists, they are lobbying to supress science and they rally against gay people.

there's some examples of bad things that most religious people i know would oppose, due to their belief in love and peace and "exploring god's creation" or "science" as you call it. it's easy to say this is just a fairy story for people to cling on to, and many people use it that way, but many people don't, including scientists, so it's important to remember that while laughing at emptyheaded prolifers or whatever.

Science and Religion are closely entwined. I find it funny when people take one extreme or the other. I like what Einstein once said: "The more I learn about science the more I realize there must be a God."

Funny thing about the videos that portray religious people as anything but idiots, charlatans, demons or victims of intellectual disability: as a rule, they just fail to make it out of the queue.

There was a shrine like this, 'tho nothing like it in size, on the hill behind where we lived in Bisbee, Arizona. A bit like a cemetry in that it offered a fascinating, if not sometimes depressing look into people's lives, if you took the tme to stop and read the inscriptions on the various paraphenalia.
