You know, privatization doesn't mean it has to go to private corporations. A lot of times the local or state community takes the burden, which (I think) used to be the case for most hospitals (most are run by the churches - or at least used to be). Doesn't privatization mean getting it out of the hands of the (ahem, inept) Federal gov't?
