chicchoreaSynchronistically, six stories of scaffolding collapsed in downtown Houston yesterday and I thought to research bamboo scaffolding.
Dumdeedumsays...I kind of wanted to see how they take it down again afterwards, and whether it's new bamboo for each build.
That and how they do the really high structures without the lower parts buckling... I'm guessing the building has to take the weight every 50 feet or something.
elrondhubbardsays...I've read that one reason Hong Kong construction workers prefer bamboo to metal scaffolding is that it's less likely to injure them badly in a fall -- it's flexible and gives under impact.
Franskysays..."Safely" - You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
