Think of the inescapable way moving images are presented, and the way the viewer is automatically removed from "what happens," and then try to remember that there are also bullets that are moving, striking bone and flesh, striking down a child's father, and a mother's son.

I tend to downvote whichever media, by the manner in which it's presented, that diminishes death and tragedy, into becoming merely another Youtube confection.

I understand why you downvoted, I agree however I don't believe shying away from the events that do occur and in the way they occur serves us any better either. War is a reality of life in the 21st century, especially to the young kids facing combat duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The people are so far removed from it actually occuring, one would never think America is at war living in America. Because war media is so suppressed politically, lives lost become nothing but numbers uttered or scrolled across that news ticker at the bottom.

Humanity needs to think about killing. How much evil do we have to do in order to do good.

I agree with qualm on this. I would downvote also, if i could.

Farhad2000, as much as shying away from the horrors of war is definately something that should not be done by anyone, no matter their nationality, this video is more about showing off a "cool", rapid fire gun. if the video wasn't inteaded this way, it would show the corpses and the life time of pain and anguish caused by those few seconds of gun fire.

Saying that war is a reality ESPECIALLY to the american soldiers is true but makes it sound like they have it the worst in this war. what you should say is ESPECIALLY to the civilians of Iraq who are killed in numbers ATLEAST 20 times that of american soldier casualties. and no one give me that "there are no civilians in war" bullshit, that only applies to countries who mutually are at war with each other.
