Kathryn Winkfein a 72 year old woman was tasered during a traffic stop last month. She is now pressing charges against the police officer. Watch video of the incident and read more about this story here.

Kathryn Winkfein is a 72 year old woman, a great grandmother, and what most would think of as a sweet little lady. She was pulled over for speeding last month, in Travis County, Tex. by Deputy Chris Bieze. Apparently she did not want to sign the ticket, got into a bit of an argument with the officer and dared the cop to use the taser on her.


Officer Bieze and the 72 year old woman went back and forth, and he warned her if she did not step back, he would use the taser, and that is what he did.

The department is standing behind Officer Bieze, saying the officer acted properly in a “dangerous situation.”

Meanwhile, 72 year old Winkfein told her side of the story to her local Fox station, MyFox7, saying “I wasn’t argumentative I was not combative, OK? This is a lie, all of this is a lie. Pulled away from him, I did not.”
