Gåte - Ulveham (official video)

I've been a long fan of the Norwegian band Gåte - this is the official video for their Eurovision Song Contest 2024 entry.

Ulveham ("Wolf's clothing") is based on an old medieval ballad, rewritten for the ESC entry. It is about a maiden cursed by her evil stepmother - to be changed into a sword, a knife, and a needle. As the people appreciated her even in those forms, she was then cursed to become a wolf - and stay that way until she drunk her brother's blood. As a wolf she came upon the evil stepmother in the forest and killed her - and as the stepmother was pregnant, the curse was abolished.
