Directed by Richard Elfman (brother of Danny Elfman) and featuring friends and members of the musical theatre troupe "The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo". Richard had handed over the group he had created to his younger brother Danny to focus on making movies. He made this movie to help capture the essence of the original live shows of the troupe on film.

Under Danny's leadership the group was greatly reduced and evolved into the band that is now known as "Oingo Boingo".
