Fox Reporter Loses His Mic In Tuba and Tries To Get It Back

"A local reporter in Phoenix, Arizona provided some unintentional entertainment for the FOX 10 station’s morning show when he put his microphone inside of a tuba and promptly dropped it.

Last week, Cory McCloskey was visiting the Desert Vista High School campus, where cheerleaders, band members and students had gathered for a pep rally. After weaving in and out of the crowd to give the co-anchors at the studio a sense of what was happening, McCloskey came across a tuba player and exclaimed, “You know I love the tuba! It’s one of my favorite instruments.”

He then placed his microphone inside the instrument and lost his grip on it.
All sound from the mic was instantly cut, either because of the tuba’s bass tones or brass frame. Meanwhile, the anchors fell back on their couches in uncontrollable laughter. McCloskey was eventually able to retrieve the mic and finish his report, though not before the camera caught him wrestling with the instrument on the ground.

The original video, which was initially posted on Facebook, has since amassed over 1.8 million views and gone viral."
