blankfistsays...This sure does feel biased.
It's almost as if this video is trying to conflate income tax with building roads and infrastructure. But we should know zero income tax goes to that.
The housing bubble was bad, but was it the fault of private lenders? The lenders take their cues from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, which are both FEDERALLY SPONSORED! If Freddie and Fannie aren't lending, then banks don't lend. We also know the Federal Reserve create arbitrarily low interest rates that inflated the housing bubble.
This video brings up specious arguments.
Truckchasesays..."We have done the American dream of purchasing a home"
That's the most telling statement in this documentary. Why would they think that? The public sector was marketing the idea of a home for every family from the mid-90s to the mid-00s. Home ownership is not for everyone, nor should it be.
@Blank, again you're right about a portion of your argument, but again you aren't faulting half of the people with the power. The govt is taking cues from the public sector, not the other way around. It's a circular system that feeds itself. Again, however, I'm with you on holding the govt accountable, let's just not forget the other end of the power structure.
