Every 3D Movie is the Same

(funny or die) If you see one 3D movie this summer, you've seen them all.

truer words were never spoken. I just got the evo 3d and really dig the 3d thing, but you know what? I could care less for hollywood 3d movies, the majority of them were made 3d in post production. Instead I like either producing my own or watching other users content on youtube. 3d video becomes more realistic when the content is realistic. You can make ironman as 3d as you want, I still know he is all cgi fakeness.

This is why everyone is after that 3d Avatar experience, paying double (sometimes triple) normal rates to see 3D and then finding it's shit, and thus 3d movie ticket purchases are dropping like a stone. Avatar did 3d the way it was meant to be used, to add depth to a 2 dimensional space. Not once did anything 'pop out of the screen at you'. Every other 3d movie since then has just been a gimmick.
