benjeesays...I can't put into words either: how good this film is, or what it's about (this Sift will give you a better idea!)
The Donnie Darko Directors Cut is better (includes the bits Richard Kelly was forced to remove by the studio for time reasons).
NickyPsays...Put a cute on as well for the bunny wrabbit benjee
benjeesays...I was tempted Nick - but as he's 6ft tall with a missing eye and scary voice, I didn't think I could get away with it!
NickyPsays...that girl in the film, now she's pretty cute
benjeesays...Are you talking about Maggie (?) Gyllenhaal: Donnies' sister in the film and reality too?
There's a dog and talk of smurfs in the film, but I can't scrape the barrel to mis-label 'Cute' on this!
NickyPsays...Ah go on
Farhad2000says..."Now you know where he lives..."
What an awesome movie, was very moving when I watched it right before graduating.

Donnie's girlfriend is played by Jena Malone.
Here's the official Donnie Darko site. It's a bit creepy.

benjeesays...I love the Donnie Darko site (above) - it's one of the best example's of Flash development on the web (still, after several years!)
C'mon Sifter's - I 'll be very disappointed that a film so good should be left to slip into the abyss...
quantumushroomsays...I can see what a nightmare it was to market this. It couldn't just be explained.
