Constitutional_Patriotsays...viral?
bl968says...viral - clever commercials promoting a product or service designed to proliferate a marketing campaign through entertaining video. I generally toss it on any commericals on the net. May not mesh 100% but close enough.
Constitutional_Patriotsays...Habeas Corpus is a product or service? I suppose you can say it's a service if you think of having the right to fair counsel. I see what you mean though.. the video is trying to get people to take some form of action.
The right of habeas corpus—or rather, the right to petition for the writ—has long been celebrated as the most efficient safeguard of the liberty of the subject. Albert Venn Dicey wrote that the Habeas Corpus Acts "declare no principle and define no rights, but they are for practical purposes worth a hundred constitutional articles guaranteeing individual liberty." In most countries, however, the procedure of habeas corpus can be suspended in time of national emergency. In most civil law jurisdictions, comparable provisions exist, but they may not be called "habeas corpus."

Farhad2000says...Where is the link to said petition?
This is not a viral video. Political issues are not in anyway related to market economy so shouldn't be treated as a business issue.
bl968says...It doesn't bother me one way or the other. However I think advertising should be disclosed as such.
It wasn't included in the video but here you go http://www.defendhabeas.org/
