Def Leppard: Rock of Ages

"Rock of Ages" is from the "Pyromania" album released in 1983. It was helped by the success of the first single "Photograph."

When I posted The Offspring's "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)" I was inspired to hunt for this song. The Offspring sampled the beginning of this song - the German opening.

As for Def Leppard, they had been around before their MTV fame in 1983. For more information on their history:

this song stands the test of time. Unfortunately the video does not. It really shows the limitations fo the time in shooting and editing.
