Crying Library Man

"One local man was brought to tears over the City of Philadelphia's plan to close his neighborhood library to help fend off the city budget crisis." [YT]

Sorry, old timer. There are a lot of people who have never been inside a library. They watch afternoon TV and collect checks from the city, state and feds. The people buying these slobs' votes make no distinction between them and people trying to find work.

The wealth must be spread around you see, and so your library is gone.

They should just leave the books in it and give this guy the keys to the back door. I haven't been to the library in ages but I still find this heartbreaking.

I'm so thankful that there are people that care about these things still, even if we only notice them when it's too late.

Rougy is dead on. The idea that a public institution, one that everybody can potentially benefit from (and that betters society when they choose to), should be closed at the same time that the fat cats are getting their taxes cut...

Valuing public institutions isn't "communism," it's community.
