CryEngine 3 HD Presentation (GDC 2009) 1:08

The next iteration of Crytek's CryEngine graphics solution, the console-ready CryEngine 3, is making its debut at GDC in San Francisco, and today the first footage was released by way of IGN. (via ShackNews)

The new engine is optimized for consoles and is X360 & PS3-ready, which basically means it's pretty much a case of backwards-evolution/stagnancy. Go console-gaming! R.I.P. PC-gaming! Yay! :(
Duckman33says...

What do you expect from a console? They don't have dual $600 PCIe video cards, 8GB of ram, and/or the power it takes to run a game Crisis. A High end PC does and can. To me, this looks pretty damn good for a console.
