xxovercastxxThis is dupe-ish.

The posting guidelines currently include dead videos as dupes (http://www.videosift.com/faq-en.php#posting_guidelines). I'd recommend offering this to TheSofaKing, but I guess it's your call.
TrancecoachI had a friend read David Irving in college and he turned me on to reading it in the spirit intellectual rigor. In the course of reading, I was forced to question some of my own deeply held assumptions about something I've held to be true for the most of my life.
Since reading this material, over 10 years ago, I find that I am yet to meet ANYONE who is willing to entertain the ideas Irving raises in his books in the similar spirit of intellectual rigor as my friend and I had, back then.
This discussion raised by Hitchens, I feel, is a worthy one -- and doesn't get enough play, IMO, in the firmly defended bastions of what is considered to be "known" and "basic knowledge" in the contemporary culture.
CrakeFair enough, but I'm new here, how do I offer it to him?
gwiz665I'm going to go ahead and *discard this. Crake, write a pm to thesofaking and let him use this embed, or, when it's put into the deadpool, you can fix his embed and get a starpoint for it. Either way is good.
