Former National Security Advisor from the Carter era talks about topics revolving around the Iraq war, American public foreign policy and basically states that people around the globe are able to see beyond the veil of the mainstream media.

It's not meaningless to talk about current affairs. In these times it's essential for us to consider the thoughts of those that have gone before us and to ascertain the effect that our current policy is going to affect us in the eyes of the rest of the world.

I always find it ironic to hear Brzezinski talk about this stuff now, as he was the one whispering in a reluctant President Carter's ear about aiding the mujahideen against the Soviets in Afghanistan.

Carter relented against his own better judgment, and the mujahideen eventually became the Taliban.
