hueco_tanksGreat clip... gives you a feel for the adrenaline rush involved in theft and helps me understand the Winona Ryders of the world. I wonder what was done with the car after the show.

HaricotVertI'd imagine the show/network would compensate the victims in some way or another. There's no way that such a show could be legal as it were even in Europe. The entire show is essentially a conspiracy to commit (possibly grand) theft... the fact that it's all caught on tape means that the evidence of such thefts exist and is publicly available, and so I have no clue how the show intends on protecting its own "contestants" aside from having the victims sign waivers/consent forms after the theft is committed, with a clause giving them ample compensation.
