8594says...In the video, he explains that you can only go back in time to the point at which the time machine is turned on. Therefore, the earliest point in the past that we will ever be able to travel is the point at which the time machine is invented.
HINT: He didn't invent it before his father died.
xxovercastxxsays...Yeah, I was posing a broader question, one that I've always found interesting, about general time-travel concepts. Anyone who saw The Time Machine a few years back should be familiar with it.
