He's actually dead now, but hey... if he's still half as good as this then we can all rest easy. Can you believe the man was known for his temper? I know it seems crazy :P

This is from Nothing2looze@aol.com. I saw Buddy Rich live 34 years ago at a club in Philadelphia.
When he took a brief break I walked up to his drums and took the sticks he had been playing with. I'll never forget that night. He was the greatest.
