5:55 really says it all about these drivers. (And the co-drivers, for that matter.)

Agreed on 7:50. I thought it was just going to be another oversteer accident, and then OH MY GOD he did that on purpose.

Awesome sift. Wish the drivers named where there though. I recognized some, but really want to know who was driving the red porsche through the 8:00 min. That guy had skillz.

Drivers mentioned in youtube description: Ari Vatanen Walter Rohrl Stig Blomqvist Hannu Mikkola Colin McRae Marcus Grönholm Gigi Galli Sebastien Loeb Jari-Matti Latvala Petter Solberg Gilles Panizzi Mads Östberg Michèle Mouton Leszek Kuzaj Emil Triner
From what I know none of them drove Porsche for rallies, maybe Walter Rohrl drove on (tarmac) tracks. Other than that, I can't help you here unfortunately. Maybe you figure it out and let me know.>> ^Enzoblue:

Holy shit @3:43, haven't seen that one yet. Out of curiosity, what the hell is wrong with people who crowd around the actual track? You'd have to be crazy to be a rally driver, but you'd have to be INSANE to be a spectator at such a close proximity. I'm specifically talking about the crowd at 0:50.

Crouds like that don't exist any more in rallies. Since the accidents in the '80s standing near the road is illegal and marshals usually make sure the rule is enforced.
I've heard a rally driver from the '80s say in an interview that the only way he could drive with all the human walls was to imagine they are actual concrete walls. The only problem was that hitting such a wall made shit very real, very fast.
