Had a bat fly into the lobby of my office a few months ago. The ladies that work there overnight had closed all the doors and stuffed paper towels under them to keep it out. I'm told they spent time hiding under the desks too.

Of course I ended up having to be the one to kick it out while avoiding rabies and whatever else they carry. Apparently he wanted out as much as we wanted him out because once I locked the outside door open, he crawled to the threshold, smelled the fresh air, then flew away.
