Godless Commie or Patriotic American?

With 'Communist' being the latest fallback argument of the politically ignorant, I thought it would be nice to show the origins of this type of rhetoric. This and other similar propaganda films were shown in high schools across America at a time when it was not socially acceptable to question authority. It's weird to hear people continue to make these arguments in the 21st century.

There will be an open note quiz on this, so pay attention. http://www.ziptrivia.com/play/are_you_a_good_citizen

A definition of propaganda: information, ideas, or rumors deliberately spread widely to help or harm a person, group, movement, institution, nation, etc.

No one doesn't use it.

The unfortunately-named Dr. Ganus gave an accurate description of the American system of government and economics and what should be done to preserve them. There's a large gap between arguing for another kind of system and the marxist rewriting of American history in the name of enforced "fairness". This video would never be shown in a modern high school and if it were would seem totally alien to the students.

Obamunism = socialism, the intermediate step between capitalism and communism. There's plenty of RINOS as well as Bush presidents that foment the same thing, only at a slightly slower pace. Both parties were only too happy to let Civics vanish from public schools government indoctrination centers.

I think 'Obamunism' is actually called Communitarianism. America was pretty socialist before, then they shut it down, made it taboo to be communist (which failed in the Soviet Union anyway) then instituted capitalism, which has now failed.

Has a lot to do with the Hegelian Dialectic - ie. 'a + b = c' irrespective of if a or b is false.

a = Capitalism
b = Communism
c = Communitarianism

But wait, how can we "make the welfare of his fellow man our first concern" when private property and the profit motive are the first two pillars supporting the American System? How, Professor Ganus, how??? And why weren't any of the young ladies allowed to answer any questions? And where are my Negro friends? Oh, they are getting a separate but equal lecture? Oh, that's fine, then.
