Ryjkyjsays...Very well done.
bamdrewsays...... dragging his hand on the cables under the snare to make the 'reversed-snare' sound worked surprisingly well. (@3:30 for example)
Only missing the dynamics and some of the urgency of the original, but maybe a better recording would clean that up a bit.
Last live Aphex Twin cover I can remember was by Dillinger Escape Plan, so this is fun.
siftbotsays...Tags for this video have been changed from 'aphex twin, jazz, the bad plus, flim, techno, electronic' to 'aphex twin, jazz, the bad plus, flim, techno, electronic, drum, bass, ambient' - edited by bamdrew
dystopianfuturetodaysays...Yeah, these guys do some cool stuff, but they never blow me away. I always feel like I'm listening to amazing college students who will one day be seasoned pros.
Dillinger Escape Plan's Come To Daddy w/ Mike Patton is indeed rad.
P.S. the cables under the snare are called snares.
kulpimssays...*promote, I love it
