Another scary landing....

This Swiss Air jet had a VERY bumpy landing at London City Airport, due to heavy crosswinds, on the afternoon of 17th January, 2008.

What's the saying...any landing you can watch on the Sift is a good one.

Had a landing recently on a regional flight that was scary. You could hear people gasping and there was a lot of tension. The fun part was the marine sitting next to me didn't even wake up ,lol. I had to jostle him when we made the gate.

Wow, that's bounce does NOT look good. It had to have needed a crap load of repairs.

Planes are built to withstand that kind of abuse, otherwise they'd ground aircraft except during calm, windless weather.
