Andy McKee - The Friend I Never Met

A rather cutting edge acoustic guitar player employs some fantastic techniques. More by him and others conveniently playlisted by yours truly for your auditory pleasure.

Thx for the sift. I like Andy... but Don Ross is better.

Not a shot in the world, man. Don Ross plays too sloppily, while Andy's songs are both far more well-constructed and well-performed. I'm going to have to say that Andy McKee outclasses Ross by miles.

Very nice. Sounds heavily influenced by Michael Hedges. Andy ranks up there with the best of them, although I still prefer his tunes with more melodic movement rather than the tapping drone notes. He has some beautiful melodies. Stephen Bennett still gets my vote for the "man" on harp guitar though. If you're not familiar, check him out.
