From YT description: "In the final moments of FC Basel's UEFA Cup group-stage match versus AS Nancy-Lorraine on November 23, 2006, Petrić was installed in goal after Basel's keeper Franco Costanzo was sent off for a foul on Nancy's Issiar Dia and the team have already made all three substitutions. The foul resulted in a penalty kick that gave Nancy the final chance for an away victory, but Petrić was able to make an amazing save and stopped the penalty kick taken by Mickaël Chrétien, helping his team to drive home one point with a 2-2 draw"

rubbish penalty kick though. but upvote for the bit where he's getting advice from the goalie and he's thinking "just fuck off alright, stop giving me advice, i have to put your stinky shirt and gloves on and do this shit just because you are retarded, so piss off."

Great clip, damn good save. It wasn't that great of a kick, but the sub read it very well, just the same.

And yeah, the original goalie was retarded for committing the penalty in the first place, but you gotta hand it to Petrić for stepping up and keeping the score tied.

Lousy kick, I agree. Probably thought Petric would be less of an obstacle.

I am very glad that Petric is now playing for my favourite team, the Hamburger SV. Striker and Goalie at once! Looks like we got a bargain!
