KrupoFew will understand this without context, but I thought it was funny enough to share: Poland has a Prime Minister and a President.
From VS.pl: http://www.videosift.pl/story.php?id=4866
Well in the last election a pair of twins were elected to office. One was elected president, the other to parliament. Like in many countries with parliaments, any member of parliament can, in theory, become Prime Minister.
Well, long story short, government got reshuffled and the 2nd twin is now PM, making some people upset - in part b/c they promised that they wouldn't both be in the top two positions, yet they now are.
Translations (Prawie jak means "almost like" ... some need no translation but I'll be thorough)
Soviet era sedan: "Almost a coupe"
Chicken: "Almost an eagle"
Hugs: "Almost like love"
Backyard: "Almost like being in Saint Tropez"
Gnomes: "Almost like art"
Race: "Almost a champion"
Final: "Almost a real election"
"*Almost* makes a great difference"
More wiki background:
President Lech - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lech_Kaczy%C5%84ski
PM Jarosław - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaros%C5%82aw_Kaczy%C5%84ski
And yes, their name is spelled essentially the same way as that of the Unabomber, I know - except for the original Polish letter "ń"
Thanks ender.
