OK, even if global warming is a complete farce (which it isn't), what's wrong with conservation? What's wrong with reducing pollution that you and your children breathe and drink? What's wrong with reducing our dependence on Middle Eastern oil?

Let me get this straight - conservatives want to lecture liberals on scare tactics?!? Give me a fucking break.

nothing is wrong with conservation - the fallacy that a lot of people seem to get into is that the opposite of "Al Gore's movie was idiotic" is not "we should keep polluting a lot".

Pollution, oil dependence, etc, are all bad for a variety of reasons, regardless of the state of Global Warming.

Discarding because this post has less than 2 votes in its first day in the queue.
