Am I supposed to feel sorry for them or is this just a warning type thing? Any traveler needs to know the customs and laws of the country hosting them. She admitted she was carrying. It's against the law there. It's against the law here. If you intentionally break the law, you'd better be familiar with the consequences according to regional law and custom.
