African Lions Accept Man As One of Their Own

Even dogs,domesticated for around 40 thousand years, occasionally turn on their loving guardians.This guy is, literally, dicing with death. My only question would be why, as an animal behaviourist, does he find it necessary to have such close contact with wild Lions. Observe them in the wild or, if necessary, nurture them back to health. But i see no benefit, apart from a personal one, for such interaction.

He needs to set up a camera and talk in a high pitch voice. I want to see a sequel to Grizzly Man.
