I guess Snowden was right to draw attention to himself by going to Hong Kong. It seems to have gotten results this time.
aaronfrsays...I had never seen that article before, but it relies on information from William Binney, a whistleblower who left the NSA in late 2001. Although he provided important information, it was not confirmation of current capabilities.
On the other hand, Snowden divulged information from the recent past. Yes, there was nothing particularly revelatory about what he has said, but he came armed with evidence. That is the real difference: source documents.
